Skipper is a 24 ft, 1964 Avion Coach! Here you can enjoy grilling and hanging out after a day at the lake or just as a weekend getaway! Skipper is a rugged 60 yr old original aluminum riveted aircraft construction travel coach that we discovered on a Mercer County farm. After 60 years of fun times, a little TLC was required along with small updates to make it comfortable and cozy for your camping stay (see amenities below). Though still not perfect, it's full of charm and ready for new memories. We enjoyed bringing Skipper back to life as a part of Cedar Creek Camp. INFORMATION FOR ALL CABIN OR VINTAGE CAMPER STAYS!
- BYOB - Bring Your Own Bedding: We provide 2 clean covered pillows (per bed) and a covered mattress. Suggested: Sleeping bags or blankets/sheets, and towels.
- Cooking: All cooking is outside only, on the tabletop grill on the deck or at the campfire. You are also welcome to bring your own grill. Outside water for drinking/cooking is nearby. Suggested: Cooking supplies & utensils, paperware, etc.
- Electricity & Heating/Cooling: All Cabins / Vintage Campers are fully electric. All have AC and heat.
- Plumbing: Cabins and vintage campers do not have indoor plumbing; Guests utilize the Bath House (approximately 150 ft from units).
- Limited Space Inside: There is room for extra belongings. Skipper is 24ft x 8 ft and the deck is 12x10ft. Skipper has numerous closets and cabinet storage spaces. Many guests bring outside coolers and other camping gear that can help store belongings.
- Pets allowed: One pet per cabin allowed with $20 pet fee. If you make an online reservation, please call to let us know about your pet. All campers must follow Camp Rules regarding pets. Thank you.
